An Authentic World War I Victory Liberty Loan Poster!

Here's Mike, pictured with his lucky find of the day...an authentic WWI Victory Liberty Loan poster, and it's already framed! It was purchased today at The Depot in Concord, NC. The poster is titled, "And They Thought We Couldn't Fight." It's a gigantic color lithograph, circa 1917. Clyde Forsythe was the artist. A smiling, slightly wounded American Doughboy clutches three captured German spiked helmets in his hands and radiates confidence for the folks back home. This is one of the few posters made in the large size. Mike had the eye today...he also found a super wide green bakelite bangle for me!
